FAQ's
Do you require a deposit or booking fee?
When all bookings are made, a small deposit may be required and this is then non refundable if you make a cancellation. This is due to product outlay and timings blocked out in the diary.
Which areas do you cover?
We cover the London, Surrey and Middlesex areas, but see our travel page for more details.
How do I pay you?
We accept cash or cleared cheques, but are unable to accept credit cards. A deposit of £50 must be paid
to reserve our services before your wedding day or special occasion. If you wish to pay the remaining balance
by cheque, we must receive it two weeks prior to the wedding date to allow the cheque to clear. Alternatively you may pay cash on the day.
Will you come to my home or venue on the day?
Yes, we will travel to you for the trial and on the day of the wedding. Please note that that travel charges may apply.
How soon before the wedding should I book a trial?
We recommend you book your trial as early as possible to ensure our availability. Most trials are booked 2-3 months before the wedding date.
What time will you arrive and how long will it take?
We work out the time required for you and any other members of your party, and arrive early enough to ensure everyone is ready at the specified time. More precise time scales will be worked out at your trial.
How do I book my wedding with you?
On the day of your trial, if you decide to book us for your wedding day, we require a £50 deposit to secure your wedding date.
The deposit will be deducted from the final balance. Popular dates (June-August) may need to be booked in advance of your trial.
Do you provide hairstyling, manicures and pedicures?
Yes, we do. Please see our specific pages for more information.
Which cosmetics do you use?
We use a selection of make-up, including Bobbi Brown, Chanel, Christian Doir, Estee Lauder, La Prairie, Lancome, Laura Mercia,
M.A.C, Nars, Perscriptives and YSL. If you have sensitive skin or have experienced problems with any of the cosmetics listed, please let us know as soon as possible.
How many people can you 'do' on the wedding day?
This depends on the number of people having their make-up done. We can discuss this on your trial run, and I can bring an assistant with me for larger parties.
What if I decide to cancel my booking?
You must notify us of the cancellation in writing as soon as possible. A cancellation fee may be charged.
When all bookings are made, a small deposit may be required and this is then non refundable if you make a cancellation. This is due to product outlay and timings blocked out in the diary.
What if you are ill on my wedding day?
In this unlikely event, we have many contacts in the industry, and will make every endeavour to find someone to visit you. Your make up chart will be passed along to ensure that the same look as your trial is achieved. If this is not possible
your deposit will be refunded. Please note this has not occurred previously.
